Question: Can you share a bit more about the accessibility standards currently used across the Open edX LMS?
Web Accessibility in Ginkgo
As per the Ginkgo Open edX release notes, edX has made a number of accessibility improvements that, among other things, provide easier navigation using keyboards, screen readers, or other assistive technology. They indicate the LMS is compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA.
WCAG 2.1 provides some additional success criteria to address: mobile accessibility, people with low vision and people with cognitive and learning disabilities. For more details, please refer to https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/new-in-21/.
If there are specific accessibility issues your accessibility person has reported, our team can review and determine next steps.

- Ficus was compliant with WCAG 2.0. One of our customers produced a detailed accessibility analysis, if I can gain access to their report. If I can, I can potentially share many of the issues we addressed directly. btw, any and all accessibility improvements are added to our master theme which is applied to all customer sites. We are committed to providing a learner experience accessible to all.
