New Features

API Endpoints

We’re excited to announce our new Appsembler API Endpoints. You now have the power to develop custom integrations between Tahoe and any business systems.

API Endpoints are single, callable URLs that take in data and perform actions. This enables admin-level users to generate a unique API key, which lets them programmatically interact with the API endpoints from other software platforms and websites.

These integrations usually require a developer in order to customize, but we can also support you in getting started.

Examples of API Endpoints in action:

  • Building a connection between your customer relationship management system and Tahoe in order to automatically register customers on your learning site
  • Building a connection between your e-commerce system and Tahoe in order to automatically enroll your customers into courses
  • Building a connection between your website and Tahoe to display currently available courses

Registration API

The Registration API is an endpoint that allows you to register new learners on your Tahoe site, via external code that sends registration data to the endpoint.

This single endpoint will allow you to use an external system to collect initial registration information from users (including information that Tahoe doesn’t need like instance: title, department, company, etc) and then send the relevant information over to Tahoe to start the learner’s registration process there. The external system will replace the standard registration form in the site’s workflow.

Enrollment API

The Enrollment API enables you to use an external system to enroll learners in courses by sending the relevant information over to Tahoe to start the learner’s enrollment process there. The external system will replace the standard enrollment process in the site’s workflow.

Course Catalog API

The Course Catalog API enables you to  present course catalog information in other locations outside of your LMS. The level of integration ranges in scope:

  • Small: showing the latest course titles and links on the company homepage
  • Medium: pulling over course titles, descriptions, and dates into an e-commerce system to let prospective learners browse them
  • Large: full-scale replacement of the Tahoe Course Catalog with a course catalog on another site
