Hijacking a user to test as another account

  1. Go to https://amc-app.appsembler.com/admin
  2. Login as a superuser. Note: the username field is NOT an email address, it’s your actual username. This differs from how you login to Open edX, which uses an email address.
  3. Go to Authentication and Authorization and choose Users.
  4. Find the user you want to hijack, and click the blue Hijack button to the right of their name.
  5. When you’re done browsing as that user, click the Release name button in the upper right corner of the screen, to revert back to your normal user.
